Join Maine Civic Action for a Bangor-area canvassing launch on Saturday, January 17, 2026, as we kick off door-to-door outreach for the 2026 election year. We’ll gather at 10:00 AM at the First Pentecostal Church in Brewer, Maine, where volunteers can enjoy coffee and snacks and learn more about Maine Civic Action, our mission, and our goals for the Bangor region. After a brief overview and training, we’ll head out to knock doors for a few hours, focusing on Maine House Districts 20, 21, and 22, as well as Maine Senate District 8—a critical district for securing a conservative majority in 2026. This event is open to everyone, with training provided for new volunteers and support for all experience levels. Stay as long as you’re able, dress warmly for the weather, and we’ll supply everything else, including walk lists, paper materials, or setup and training for our door-knocking app.
